Tommy Fountain – Youth Pastor

Tommy is a 3rd generation Baptist minister. He received Christ and was Baptized at the age of 6 at Second Baptist Church of Columbus GA and received the call into the ministry at age 18 at a New Song Concert at Second Baptist Church of Columbus. He attended Shorter College, where he played baseball and was a Christian Ministry major, before receiving his undergraduate degree from Columbus State University in Health and Physical Education and his master’s degree from Troy University in Post Secondary Education. He has previously served as a bivocational minister at Golden Acres Baptist Church of Phenix City, AL as Pastor’s Assistant and College/Career Minister, Antioch Baptist Church of Harris County as Youth Pastor, First Baptist Church of Cusseta as Pastor, and North Metro First Baptist Church of Lawrenceville as Interim Pastor of Middle School Students. Tommy has been the Student Pastor at Bethabra since January of 2009. Tommy is an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. ROLL TIDE! He is married to Mallory McKelvey Fountain and they have two children, Madison (4) and Brady (2). Tommy is a teacher at Jackson County High School and the Head Baseball Coach.
